The United Methodist Women of Coppell is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand the concept of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
UMW Circles - The circles provide a great opportunity to meet other women from FUMC Coppell, while nurturing and encouraging each other in spiritual growth and development. Each circle group meets monthly, September through May.
Hannah Circle: The circle meets the second Monday of each month from 9:30-11:30 am at the home of a circle member. There is always plenty of coffee, brunch and fellowship after which a devotional and book study is lead by various members.
Mary Martha Circle: This circle is the only afternoon circle and is comprised of a group of women slightly older than the majority of our circles. It meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm at various members homes with fellowship and refreshments followed by a lesson.
Lydia Circle: The Lydia circle meets at the Church on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in room 306. If the first Monday falls on a holiday, the meeting will be on the second Monday of the month. After a devotional and a discussion everyone completes a craft project taught by one of the members.
Kairos Circle: This evening circle meets the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm and is comprised of women mostly in their 40's-60's although any age is welcome! The meetings are hosted in homes of the members each month with lots of warm fellowship and refreshments followed by a discussion of a study book.
Rachel Circle: The Rachel circle is comprised of women from their mid 20’s to early 40’s and meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The meetings are hosted in the home of the members with fellowship and refreshments followed by discussion of the study.
Please Note: Childcare is provided at the church for Lydia, Kairos and Rachel circles. Reservations for childcare must be made in advance, (48 hours) by calling 972-462-0471, ext 226.
