Adult Music Opportunities
There are so many ensembles from which to choose. We hope that one of these ensembles will fit your spiritual and musical needs.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is open to all who enjoy singing and sharing music and wish to enter a commitment to create music with others to share the glory of God. A wide variety of musical abilities are welcome in the Chancel Choir. This choir primarily leads worship at the 11:00 am worship service on Sunday mornings and rehearses every Wednesday night from 6:45-8:45 pm in the Choir Room. The Chancel Choir also performs a variety of concerts throughout the year. You can join by attending one of our regularly scheduled rehearsals. View our Fall schedule.

Heartfire Praise Band
This is our praise band which leads worship each Sunday morning in the 9:45 am worship service. They typically rehearse on Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. For more information please contact our Music Ministry at rchalwell@fumccoppell.org.
Shalom Ringers
The Adult handbell choir regularly lead worship service on Sunday mornings. We rehearse on Sunday evenings during the school year from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Sanctuary's choir loft. For more information please contact Deanna Goodman at dgoodman@fumccoppell.org. View our Spring Schedule.
First Church Orchestra
The orchestra is looking for players of all levels and expertise. They play a wide variety of music in a wide variety of styles! First Church Orchestra is open to players ages 13 and up. Dixie Disciples
This is our resident Dixie Land Band. They are usually a crowd favorite at events like Christmas and Patriotic POPS! The Band also represents FUMC Coppell at local events and for the Church's own activities. They rehearse on an as needed basis.
