We would love for your child to participate in the Stringfellow experience. We provide a Children's Day Out (CDO) and Preschool service for children ages 12 months - 5 years old, Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 am-2:00 pm. All 3-5 year old teachers are certified.
Children's Day Out Program (CDO): 12 - 24 months old
The Children's Day Out Program provides each child time to grow, experiment, and discover...time to be a child. Every school day is structured to allow many experiences in creative self expression. Children attend music class each day. Outdoor learning activities are encouraged during outside play.
Preschool: Ages 3 -5 years old
Stringfellow's preschool curriculum provides each child an opportunity to grown in their own way. Rich literature experiences are woven into all aspects of the curriculum. Theme-based units provide hands-on learning in writing, math and science. Social development is also a very imprtant part of our curriculum. Children have separate enrichment classes in Music, Movement, Chapel, and Science Discovery. In addition, our award winning Outdoor Learning Environment is an extension for creative learning and play.

What's in a name?
Why is Stringfellow the name of our school? In September of 1879, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Stringfellow donated the first permanent site of worship in Coppell. They deeded an acre of their farm, on which the old church used to stand, at the corner of Bethel Road and Coppell Road. The Baptist and Methodist congregations met there together for several years, and the church became the center of worship, social gathering, as well as the first school.
