Coppell Cares, a ministry of FUMC Coppell, helps families and individuals in our community who have needs driven by financial challenges. We uncover needs through our school and community connections and provide adhoc, short-term assistance as well as serve as a resource to direct people to other organizations that provide long-term solutions. We have three teams: School Care, Community Care, and Resource.
Volunteers are needed for the School Care team for the school year 2018-2019 to serve as School Liaisons. Each Coppell School has a volunteer School Liaison to work with school leaders to identify needs at that school. School Liaisons work with the nurse and the counselor at the school to help assist with needs such as:
- medical/dental services
- prescription assistance
- food and snack needs
- field trip assistance
- Rent/Mortgage & Utility assistance
- other needs that are identified
