May Mission of the Month: Metrocrest Service / Sack Summer Hunger

kthomasFirst News

Did you know there are a substantial number of children in our community who receive free or reduced breakfast and /or lunch during the school year? FUMC Coppell supports Metrocrest Social Service (MSS) in providing a wide range of emergency aid, financial assistance, and services, including the SSH program. SSH and volunteers from FUMCC ensure children in need receive 5 days of food for each week during the summer break. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for SSH and the other food programs (Weekend Backpack Program and Thanksgiving week) where food is provided to children in our community. Please consider helping us Eliminate Food Insecurity for children in our Zip Code.
