At 6 pm, you and your family are invited to a short, interactive family worship experience in the Rotunda. Through the story of the crucifixion in a child-friendly way with activities, singing, and movement. All are welcome—including little ones! This will be a place where kids can move, make noise, be themselves, and still experience the story.
A little later that night, the chancel choir, orchestra, and handbells will offer a special performance that honors the events of Good Friday at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Our Director of Sanctuary Worship, Anastasia Markina, will conduct Faure’s Requiem, as well as her own composition among other beautiful arrangements. The choir will be accompanied by an orchestra comprised of Dallas Symphony musicians, UNT Faculty and alumni.
