Volunteer for Children’s Sunday school: Do you love children and want to be part of our Sunday school team? Lead a class, exercise crowd control, assist with the sound system, gather craft supplies, or play a part in a short skit during our large group gathering! No experience is necessary! Contact Kathy Braem at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Children’s Sunday School is important way to support children in the life of the church. Through Sunday School, we teach children that Christ calls all of us, no matter how old we are, to serve others in God’s love. We believe in sharing the love of Christ with all of God’s children! During our Sunday School hour, we offer a place for children of every age.
For preschoolers, age is determined by the age of the child as of September 1st of the academic year.
Nursery care is available for infants through children age three. Care is available for Sunday School and all worship services. Special event childcare by reservation 48 hours in advance with a 4 child minimum, call 972-462-0471, ext. 204. Question? Contact Kathy Braem at email@example.com.
Engaging, hands-on classes for three year olds and up provide a scriptural foundation for children’s spiritual growth.
At 9:45 a.m., we use Deep Blue curriculum.
- Preschool-Kindergarten have music gathering every Sunday during the school year.
- Our 1st through 5th graders gather for a large group gathering with music and a theme lesson, then break into their small group breakout session with their small group leaders for application of the main story lesson.
At 11 a.m., we have a second opportunity for learning. You can choose to check your child in at 11 a.m. for Sunday school using the Deep Blue curriculum or you can have your child participate in worship and then exit the Sanctuary after children’s time and check them into the second Sunday School hour.
We are always looking for volunteers to work with each age group. YOU can help bring this new concept and ministry to life!
