The Chancel Choir is open to all who enjoy singing and sharing music and wish to create music with others to share the glory of God. The choir sings a variety of music styles, from classical to contemporary and everything in between. All levels of musical abilities are welcome in the Chancel Choir as this is a non-audition group. The Chancel Choir primarily leads worship at the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday mornings and rehearses every Wednesday night from 7:15 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. in the Choir Room.
The Chancel Choir also performs a major choral work in the Fall and Spring as well as hosts the Patriotic Pops Concert in May and the Christmas Pops Concert in December. Open to all, this small group of singers goes for more challenging music and sings at various times during the year for Traditional Services. Styles vary from contemporary to renaissance and from gospel to classical! If you would like to sing more than the average choir member, this group is for you! Revelation Singers rehearse each Wednesday from 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. (right before Chancel Choir). Come join us!

Selah is used in the Bible in Psalms and Habakkuk and generally means “musical interlude.” Selah is FUMC’s instrumental wind, string, and percussion ensemble and is looking for players of all levels, interests, and expertise! The group is open to all musicians, grades 7 and above, and any adults with a background in instrumental music. All instruments are welcome and this is a non-audition group! We are ESPECIALLY looking for Middle and High School students to participate in this great area of worship!
Selah rehearses Sunday afternoons at 3:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The group plays monthly for Traditional worship services (including hymns, service music, choir accompaniments, and orchestral features) and also plays for special services including Patriotic and Christmas Pops Concerts. Members also are encouraged to share their talents individually or in small ensembles to enhance worship.
