The goal of this Caregiving Heroes one-day seminar is to provide support and education to family caregivers who are assisting loved ones with aging or other concerns. Loved ones may live near or far, independently, in facilities or with family. By educating individuals about aging issues and concerns, costs and funding, and offering information about local resources, caregivers are empowered to make informed decisions.

The caregiving journey is different for each family, but realizing that many others are also making that journey strengthens the ability to cope and reduces the isolation that can accompany caregiving.

At the seminar, credentialed professionals will present an overview of topics ranging from legal considerations, finances, eldercare services, home alternatives, dementia, hospice, caregiver support and more.
