Holy Week


Join FUMC Coppell for Holy Week as we prepare to celebrate the Risen King. You’re invited to join us for the Maundy Thursday Come & Go Communion experience and the two services on Good Friday. We hope to then see you on Easter morning as we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection through live music and an inspirational message.

    Come and Go Communion and Prayer Stations.
    7-8 pm | Sanctuary

    Experience a prayerful walk through the last week of Jesus’ life with interactive stations that represent the events of Holy Week. You can journey at your own pace and our pastors will be available to serve communion during that hour.

    If you can’t make it on Thursday night, swing by the church during office hours M-Th to take the journey in the Sanctuary.

    Family Good Friday Service
    6 pm | Rotunda

    You and your family are invited to a short, interactive family worship experience in the Rotunda. Through the story of the crucifixion in a child-friendly way with activities, singing, and movement. All are welcome—including little ones! This will be a place where kids can move, make noise, be themselves, and still experience the story.

    Service with Chancel Choir & Orchestra
    7:30 pm | Sanctuary

    The Chancel Choir, orchestra, and handbells will offer a special performance that honors the events of Good Friday. Our Director of Sanctuary Worship, Anastasia Markina, will conduct Faure’s Requiem, as well as her own composition among other beautiful arrangements. The choir will be accompanied by an orchestra comprised of Dallas Symphony musicians, UNT Faculty and alumni.

    After the 11 am services, there will be an egg hunt for the kids.
