FUMC Coppell has been serving
the community since 1879.

Faith Works Weekend 2018 is September 21-23.

We have many opportunities to be in service throughout the weekend. Sign up for the activity you are interested in to join a team! Projects on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday happen at various times and are led by team captains. We are looking for team leaders to head up work teams on Saturday, September 22 from 9 a.m. until the project is complete.   If you would like to volunteer to be a team leader please contact Martha Hagan-Smith at mhagan@fumccoppell.org.

NO 9:45      Elevate worship
9-11 a.m.    Mission projects
11 a.m.        Combined worship in Sanctuary with fellowship lunch to follow

  • Wilson Elementary – feed the teachers

Saturday (offsite & at church)

  • Austin Street Shelter – sort clothing & bedding at shelter
  • bake cookies for celebration Sunday & Police/Fire Blessing
  • community – work on a construction project & help with light construction & yardwork
  • Christ’s Foundry UMC – painting project
  • Metrocrest food pantry – sort food at the pantry

Sunday (at church)

  • Stop Hunger Now – setup, bag food
  • FUMC kitchen – help Susie Briscoe prepare celebration lunch
  • Austin Street – make sandwiches for delivery
  • Backpack program for Coppell ISD – bag food
  • Metrocrest Birthday Box – assemble
  • Carter Blood Drive – donate blood
We also have items being collected.

  • New (in package) women’s & men’s socks & underwear


  • hamburger helper
  • jelly
  • canned fruit
  • any kind of baking mix (bisquick, pancake mix, etc.)
  • any kind of canned meat EXCEPT TUNA (chicken, chili, ravioli, etc.)
