Sack Summer Hunger 2019

Each summer, FUMC Coppell partners with Metrocrest Social Services to provide food each week to children who are on the free or reduced lunch program during the school year. These are children and families who live in the Coppell school district (Coppell, south Lewisville, west Carrollton, Valley Ranch and North Irving). In the summer of 2018 we served 183 children from 73 families over the 10 weeks. Every Saturday morning from June to August, volunteers deliver sacks with a week’s supply of food to each family’s door.

There are two ways to volunteer: help pickup food at Metrocrest or deliver food to families. Click here to sign up.
