Amended Sunday Schedule for February 26:

One Worship Service in Sanctuary at 11 a.m.

All Church Fellowship: 10:30 – 11 a.m. in Wesley Hall

Sunday School: 9:45 – 10:30 a.m. Children will gather in Rotunda for music and then go to classrooms to make Lenten Journey kits to use at home. No Sunday school classes will be held during the 11 a.m. worship hour.

    We are a church family that gathers for worship, grows in grace, and goes to serve.

    Where is First United Methodist Church Coppell and where do I park?

    We are located at the corner of South Heartz Road and Bethel School Road and we have multiple parking lots. We have designated guest parking in our north parking lot and east parking lot. You may also park across the street with access on one side from Bethel School and on the other side from Van Bebber.

    Our new Ministry Center is located across the street from the main campus by the large parking lot. Our 9:45 a.m. worship service meets here along with all youth activities (Middle School through High School).

    What time is worship and what is each service like?

    8:30 & 11 a.m. – Traditional, Sanctuary
    This traditional worship experience, led by Senior Pastor Tom Palmer, is designed for people of all stages of their faith journeys. A hymn-based worship service accompanied by organ and piano.

    9:45 a.m. – Elevate Modern Worship, Ministry Center
    The modern worship service, led by the Senior Pastor Tom Palmer, is an uplifting, casual, contemporary service with music led by a praise band and vocalists.

    Do you have Sunday School?

    We have children, youth and adult Sunday school classes at 9:45 a.m. and second learning hour for children and adults at 11 a.m.

    What should I wear?

    You will see a variety of styles of dress here. Please wear something you feel is comfortable and appropriate.

    Will anyone talk to me?

    You will be greeted. But we do try to meet people where they are. Some want to be left alone and others would like to visit. Consider visiting the Information tables just inside our doors before you enter the Sanctuary or Ministry Center.

    Will I have the opportunity to speak with a Pastor?

    Yes. Pastors are available after all worship services to answer any questions.

    Where do my kids go during worship?

    Children are always welcome in worship. We do offer Loving Care in the church Nursery for infants through young three-year-olds. Please check in at the Nursery desk located across from Rosenburg Chapel. For more information, including Sunday school, visit our Children’s page.

    I have a child with special needs. Do you have accommodations for my family?

    Yes! At the family’s request, we will provide a lovingly attentive friend to help their child participate or take care of the child while the parent(s) and/or sibling(s) are involved in any church activities. Many of our adult volunteers work in the Special Education department for area school districts. In order to arrange Loving HANDS for your child, please contact Kathy Braem at at least 48 hours prior to the time needed.
