How would you describe First United Methodist Church Coppell?
We are a church family that grows in God’s grace, loves with all our heart, and serves with all our strength.
Where is First United Methodist Church Coppell and where do I park?
We are located at the corner of South Heartz Road and Bethel School Road and we have multiple parking lots. We have designated guest parking in our north parking lot and east parking lot. You may also park across the street with access on one side from Bethel School and on the other side from Van Bebber.
Our Ministry Center is located across the street from the main campus by the large parking lot. Our 9:30 a.m. worship service meets here along with all youth activities (middle school through high school).
What time is worship and what is each service like?
9:30 a.m. – Traditional, Sanctuary
This traditional worship experience, led by Senior Pastor Tom Palmer, is designed for people of all stages of their faith journeys. A hymn-based worship service accompanied by organ and piano.
9:30 a.m. – Elevate Modern Worship, Ministry Center
The modern worship service, led by the Senior Pastor Tom Palmer, is an uplifting, casual, contemporary service with music led by a praise band and vocalists.
Do you have Learning Groups / Sunday School?
We have children, youth and adult Sunday school classes at 10:45 a.m.
What should I wear?
You will see a variety of styles of dress here. Please wear something you feel is comfortable and appropriate.
Where Can I Find Information at the Church?
We have greeters who can direct you where you want to go, and you can also find information at the Welcome Center just inside our doors before you enter the Sanctuary or Ministry Center.
Will I have the opportunity to speak with a Pastor?
Yes. Pastors are available after all worship services to answer any questions.
Where do my kids go during worship?
Children are always welcome in worship. We do offer Loving Care in the church Nursery for infants through four-year-olds. Please check in at the Nursery desk located across from Rosenburg Chapel. For more information, including Sunday school, visit our Children’s page.
I have a child with special needs. Do you have accommodations for my family?
Yes! At the family’s request, we will provide a lovingly attentive friend to help their child participate or take care of the child while the parent(s) and/or sibling(s) are involved in any church activities. Many of our adult volunteers work in the Special Education department for area school districts. In order to arrange Loving HANDS for your child, please contact Kathy Braem at email@example.com at least 48 hours prior to the time needed.
What else does First United Methodist Church Coppell have for my family?
We have many programs and opportunities for all ages. See information under the Grow and Serve sections of our website menu.
