Worship services at First United Methodist Church Coppell
With grace-based theology, we strive to relate the biblical witness to the realities of life, always pointing toward hope. We earnestly seek to offer to anyone who comes in the hospitality of open hearts, open minds, and open doors. Especially through the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, we hope people will believe that there is “a place at the table” for them” (Matthew 9:36).
No matter where you are in your journey of faith, we invite you to join us on Sunday to experience the presence of God in a welcoming community of faith.
Sanctuary – 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
First United Methodist Church Coppell is one of the only churches in this area that still offers rich traditional worship–classical liturgy, grand organ music, rich and diverse choral music (Luke 4:16). We seek to respect tradition while also maintaining a comfortable worship style and making sure that children have a place and a voice (Matthew 19:14). Our Sanctuary is one of the most beautiful traditional ones in this part of the Metroplex. The architecture, stained glass, and vaulted ceiling all remind us of the grandeur of God.
This traditional worship experience, led by Rev. Dr. Tom Palmer, is designed for people of all stages of their faith journeys.
Modern Worship Center – 9:45 a.m.
Elevate is the modern worship community of FUMC Coppell led by Rev. Dr. Tom Palmer. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere where folks from all ages and walks of life can personally engage God and be transformed through that experience.
Children and families are always welcome, and YES – you can even bring your Starbucks with you! Expect a casual vibe with relevant teaching, great music led by Dave Wilson and The Elevate Band, prayer, community, and opportunities to show compassion for those in need.
We hope you will come and worship with us as we look to elevate the way we live out our faith together!
For All Ages – 9:45 a.m.
Children and Adults – 11 a.m.
Loving nursery care is offered at all services for infants through three year olds.
